NCLB waiver means changes for teacher evaluations

When Missouri was granted a waiver from the No Child Left Behind Act last month, it gave a lot of flexibility to school districts across the state. But as part of the deal for the waiver, it also required the state to address three issues - college and career-ready expectations for all students; state-developed recognition, accountability and support; and support of effective instruction and leadership.
