State Board of Education takes show on road to Frederick Featured

The state Board of Education conducted its monthly business meeting in Frederick Thursday, a move that state Superintendent Janet Barresi said allows her and the board members to visit with local school officials and discuss their challenges and successes. Barresi and other staff attended the meeting at Frederick High School with board members Amy Ford, Brian Hayden, Joy Hofmeister and Bill Price. The Frederick visit was the first to be undertaken by the state Board of Education for the current school year.
