Voucher idea is half-baked (2/3/11)

State Sen. Anthony Williams' half-baked idea to give students taxpayer-funded vouchers so they have the choice to attend any schools they want makes little educational, financial or strategic sense. Politicians such as Williams need to stop the excuses for poor student achievement. As well they need to disclose the financial backing they receive from the deep pockets associated with the charter school movement.
