School seeks charter status
Corvian Community School's founder, Stacey Haskell, said she planned for the school to become a charter when she opened it two years ago. "I believe in public education. I'm a product of public education," she said. "I wanted my girls to grow up in a public school, but I wanted them to have an excellent public education."
