Jefferson Parish School Board studying grade size expansion at magnet schools
A Jefferson Parish School Board member wants to give more students the opportunity to attend the school system's advanced studies middle and high schools. Board member Mark Jacobs is proposing a measure that would increase grade sizes from 125 to 150 students, space permitting, beginning with the 2011-2012 school year.
