Lake Central board OKs new tuition student policy

Employees of Lake Central School Corp. who live outside the Tri-Town area and are legal residents of Indiana will now be able to enroll their children in Lake Central schools as tuition students. On Monday, the School Board unanimously approved a new policy authorizing Superintendent Larry Veracco to offer this option to district employees. The board waived the second reading slated for Sept. 9 and approved the pilot program at Veracco’s urging.
