Duval school board drops from charter lawsuit appeal
The districts’ lawyers argued the new education law violates the state constitution by forcing districts to share locally raised capital funds with charter schools, allowing certain charter schools and operators to function as if they’re their own districts, and wiping away much of the little authority districts have over charter schools.
