State tests: Fewer Rock River Valley schools get 'failing' grades

Nearly 70 percent of Rock River Valley schools failed this year under the federal No Child Left Behind Act and its standards. The results from the annual standardized tests, released today, are better than last year, when 73 percent of schools failed to reach Adequate Yearly Progress.
