TASD budget hits snag with cyber, charter school cost

School districts are required to partially pay the tuition of anyone in the district who attends a cyber school or charter school instead of the public school. Sampson said that the school is looking at a 15-20 percent increase in costs from paying tuition to these private institutions. This amounts to an estimated $626,000, up from $550,000 last year.
