Falls school officials have 9-point plan to fight new charters

Niagara Falls School District officials began on Friday a campaign to fend off the establishment of two charter schools within the City of Niagara Falls. Deputy Superintendent Mark Laurrie said the district is moving forward aggressively and vigorously to prevent the establishment of the two schools, which district officials said could take more than 1,000 students and nearly $11 million from the district.
