One of the oldest and most prestigious prep schools in South Florida has been roiled by controversy over the new headmaster, who swiftly forced out numerous longtime faculty members and, in the process, alienated many parents and alumni. In online forums and in campus gatherings, the close-knit school community voiced its unhappiness. Then suddenly Tuesday, it was announced at a faculty meeting that — after only three months at the helm of Pine Crest School — the new headmaster was out.

Reporter misses ideal opportunity to question if same thing could happen as easily at other types of schools.
