Oregon’s $2 billion school spending bill leaves a lot to be decided

Oregon lawmakers are moving quickly to approve a new business tax to support $2 billion in additional school spending over each two-year budget cycle. The bill won approval in the House last week and could come before the Senate as early as Tuesday, though Republicans are threatening a delay.
