Nobody knows when N.J. schools will reopen. How much will students suffer?

Many New Jersey school districts planned for two to four weeks of distance learning as the coronavirus began spreading across the state. Instead, schools will stay closed for what Gov. Phil Murphy called “a long and extended period of time,” as the state’s COVID-19 cases keep multiplying with no end in sight.
