Skandera still unconfirmed
Hanna Skandera was nominated three months ago by NM Gov. Susana Martinez to be secretary of public education. The Senate Rules Committee never scheduled a hearing for Skandera during the 60-day legislative session, so her nomination was not considered by the full Senate.
