After Manchester opened the 2012 school year with dozens of classes over the state-mandated limit of 30 students, Hooksett and Candia - which send their high school students to Manchester - wrote formal letters of concern to the district about overcrowded classrooms.

Hookset and Candia schools grant student transfers in face of possible contract breach as Manchester HS opens with overcrowded classrooms. Details of contract not clear but transfers are allowed on case by case basis. Manchester complains about breach in contract while not keeping its own.
