New Denver superintendent vows to keep schools open if teachers strike for first time since 1994

Should negotiators from Denver Public Schools and the Denver Classroom Teachers Association fail to agree on a new contract by the end of next week, educators in Colorado’s largest school district say they’re prepared to strike for the first time since 1994.
