In Rochester: Teachers still waiting for pay from equine charter school; board says nothing more coming
It's been almost a year since the Academy of Equine Sciences Charter School closed down and six former teachers are still awaiting pay. Libby Page, who taught English at the school for two years, claims six teachers were owed $22,000 for "contractual obligations to teach through the end of the school year." The N.H. Department of Labor sent out three payments to teachers during the fall from assets sold and now $14,000 in total is still owed. Page said she is owed more than $2,500.
