Data shows Hamilton's co-teaching collaborative is helping bridge COVID learning loss

“We kind of thought outside the box and took an innovative approach where we put our money into our people,” said Andrea Blevins, associate superintendent for the Hamilton City School District. “We put two teachers in each of our K-3 primary classrooms because we knew those are the students that experience the most significant loss in their foundational reading and math skills, and we knew if we didn't throw the most support to those grade levels, COVID would last for years and years and years.”
