D.C. Finds That Almost A Quarter Of Students At Acclaimed Public Arts School Are Attending Illegally

An audit of enrollment at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, a highly regarded application-only public high school in Georgetown, has found that roughly a quarter of the students currently attending live in Maryland or Virginia and have passed themselves off as D.C. residents so as to not pay tuition.
