Proposed cuts to education funding could mean fewer students can afford to go to college, or to the college of their choice, a U.S. representative and a student-to-be said Wednesday. For decades, federal Pell grants have been a mainstay of many students' plans for paying for their college education. The future of those grants, though, has been the subject of much discussion recently, part of the larger debate over the budget and the country's debt.
